I didn’t think they could stay alive but they proved me wrong. The thing I did note is that the stars of this team don’t need many opportunities to make you pay, so as long as Petey et al are getting their looks they have a chance. Yes it would be nice to get some contribution from the other 8 forwards and 5 D, but they can win without it.

Beagle is an embarrassment. It was fun watching Sutter fail on a beautiful set up. Roussel taking retaliatory penalties. Virtanen proving he was a waste of a top ten pick. The only one I would keep is Motte. Thanks Torts!

Some complaining that Myers, Roussel took those penalties. Roussel hit Tuch in the face with the stick cuz the guy was grabbing his stick and then let go (should have been offsetting minors at worst). Myers took a swing because he got a cross checked. Even if he didn't hit him in a vulnerable area they were cheap calls and I don't mind us getting "tough penalties" when we are working hard and being aggressive. We need more crash and bang from all the players - Specifically we need the bottom six to do a better job of it. If Motte can hussle and do it so can all the other bigger plugs.

I think JV has gotten slower living in the bubble - Seems like he is eating McDo 3 times a day slow. The guy has been the biggest disappointment in the series for me. Boeser is maybe second but even if he hasn't had an impact before last night he has made some nice plays from time to time. JV is super slow, not using his body, and his forecheck and board work is a joke.

Hit, Skate, shoot - repeat.

They played a pretty dominating game. All other things being equal, if Vegas controla the game like they did last night they’ll more than likely get a win. Thing is, all other things aren’t equal and Canucks have a chance to make adjustments.
